Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital has the honor of being the only “America’s Best Hospitals for Orthopaedic Surgery” in Alabama and Georgia. Healthgrades, the organization that ranks hospitals across the nation, recognized 63 hospitals that were in the top 100 hospitals for the past 3 years and Jack Hughston Memorial came out on top as the only hospital in Alabama and Georgia to be selected. But this designation didn’t happen by chance, according to Hughston Clinic and Jack Hughston Memorial’s CEO, Mark Baker,

The hospital has ranked in the top 10% nationwide for both orthopaedic and joint replacement care; in fact, it is the only hospital in Alabama to be recognized for excellence in both these areas. For more than 10 years, it has been listed among America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopaedic Surgery and Joint Replacement, and has been included in the top 5% of hospitals in the nation for overall orthopaedic services and joint replacement.
