About Michael Davis
Michael E. Davis, MD, received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, graduating with highest honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Davis then completed his surgical internship at the Methodist Hospitals of Memphis, Tennessee and his orthopaedic surgical residency at Campbell Clinic in Memphis as well. He then completed a spine surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina.
Dr. Davis is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, the Alabama Orthopaedic Society, the Montgomery Surgical Society and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.
Dr. Davis specializes in spinal surgery of the neck and back. He has an interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and adult spinal deformity. He also practices general orthopedics surgery, orthopaedic trauma and treatment of work related injuries.
