About Adam Lukasiewicz
Adam M. Lukasiewicz, MD, MSc, is a board-eligible, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the advanced treatment of foot and ankle conditions and injury. He completed his fellowship training at the prestigious Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, MD, where he received extensive training in innovative new treatments including total ankle replacement and minimally invasive foot surgery. He completed medical school and his orthopaedic residency at the Yale School of Medicine and received his Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from Imperial College London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Lukasiewicz has authored or co-authored over 50 medical publications, including a textbook chapter on minimally invasive foot surgery. He has presented at conferences throughout the United States and has served as a reviewer for various journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and Foot and Ankle International, the flagship journal of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
He is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, the Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society, and the Yale Orthopaedic Association.
He maintains hospital affiliations at Ascension St. Vincent’s Birmingham and Ascension St. Vincent’s One Nineteen. Outside the office, Dr. Lukasiewicz is married and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, cooking, and hiking.
